In Pursuit of Beijo … Quite Literally!

Posted by admin Categories: Bag Half Full No comments yet.

My life with Beijo began while I was running my husband’s landscape photography booth at a holiday show in December 2010. A woman came down our aisle carrying what I now know to be an olive Uptown - at the time, though; all I knew was that I absolutely loved her handbag! However, she walked right past me and DID NOT stop at our booth. Uh-oh, what was a girl to do?! How was I going to find out more about that bag? You guessed it … I ditched the booth (cash box and all!) and literally chased her down the aisle to get her attention. She told me her bag was a Beijo and directed me to www.beijobags.com where she was sure I could make a purchase.

Perfect, I thought. My birthday is coming up … this is what I want to get myself for a gift. I soon learned that I couldn’t order directly from the website, but patience and good fortune landed me in the home of Kathy Campbell, who ultimately became my sponsor. Needless to say, I now carry an Uptown as well as several other bags, and I never cease to be amazed by the attention they receive.

In my ‘other life,’ I am a high school teacher, department chair and busy mom, but my Beijo business allows me to tap into my creative side and strive for quality client service, all of which I find very rewarding. I have also enjoyed challenging myself to set lofty goals and try new things in hopes of improving my business. In fact, in less than four months as a consultant, I managed to sell over $10,000 in inventory, which was a huge milestone for me!

Overall, the lesson Beijo has taught me in this short amount of time is that I am truly limited only by my own creativity … if I can dream it; I can certainly do it, so why not dream BIG? My next dream? To become an Executive Fashion Consultant before my current stock of business cards runs out!

Keeping My Kids As My Top Priorities Has Made All The Difference

Posted by admin Categories: Bag Half Full No comments yet.

When my husband bought me a Beijo bag for me for Valentine’s Day 6 years ago, I had no idea that bag would make such a huge impression in my life. I knew I loved the bag… there was no question about that! Who wouldn’t love the petal pink “Uptown” style?! It was fit for a Barbie!!

At the time I was a stay-at-home mother of two adorable toddlers. Money was tight, but leaving my kids in day care wasn’t something I was willing to consider. When I called to learn more, I quickly found myself with 100 bags en route to my house. Within a few weeks, more bags were on the way and I was spending evenings and weekends at various shows and parties around town.

Having the flexibility to work my Beijo schedule around my children’s activities has allowed my family to enjoy the benefits of having one parent home all the time. I have happy, involved, community-minded children, who very willingly donate their time and efforts at fundraisers and activities where I represent Beijo. They have learned the value of working to earn money, and take time to help me carry and set up booth space in order to earn a few dollars. They’ve seen me work a booth all day, and then turn around and donate all of my earnings to the charity. They’ve seen what it means to enjoy rewards when they are well earned. Most importantly, they’ve been able to grow up with the security of knowing that they are loved and the most important priority in my life… which I hope equates to them doing great things for the world. Because of Beijo, I am truly blessed to have the opportunity to give my children that gift.

Its Great to Sell Something You Really, Really Love

Posted by admin Categories: Bag Half Full No comments yet.

I’m grateful to have found a product worth selling.

What makes Beijo special compared to other home party businesses is the product. A woman’s bag is noticeable, initially more obvious than a piece of jewelry or home accessory. Women are complimented when they wear a Beijo and because of that, most customers come back for another bag. –And what woman doesn’t like to receive a compliment?

Because Consultants sell an appreciated product, there’s a sense of confidence and good feeling about what we do. There’s a special bond between Consultants; we love selling our product just as much as the customer loves wearing it; and when we see one randomly in public, we get all excited and then wonder why there isn’t more out there. Consultants become personal shoppers for customers and feel special –and who doesn’t want to feel special?

Beijo product is walking advertising. I have friends who call to tell me if they saw a Beijo bag while on vacation or out and about. They get excited, too, when they spot a bag! My name becomes associated with the company, ‘Oh you know Tami; she’s the one who sells Beijo. And, who doesn’t want to be associated with a great product?

I’m very grateful to have found a Beijo handbag in that shoe store 9 years ago! Eight years into selling the product I continue to get compliments, have more confidence and respect for what I do. Our designer, Susan Handley, constantly stimulates us with new styles. I wonder if she ever sleeps: Customers are always anticipating a new release and I can’t wait to share it with them. I sell what I love!

If you love your Beijo bag, you’ll love this business!

What Beijo Has Done For Me

Posted by admin Categories: Bag Half Full No comments yet.

What has Beijo done for me? Actually— a lot. I have never thought of myself as a saleswoman. Never. When I signed up to become an Independent Beijo Fashion Consultant, I knew that I was going out of my comfort range and I was ok with it. In fact, I was very ok with it. I have learned as I get older that sometimes you really do have to leap, knowing that the net is down below and that in the end it will be ok.

Signing up for Beijo was my leap of faith. I knew I could do it, but it was still something that was foreign to me. Selling a product that you love and value makes all the difference in the world. I am proud of my Consultant role and proud of myself for deciding that sometimes your comfort zone must be stretched.

Me and My Beijo- A True Love Affair!

Posted by admin Categories: Bag Half Full No comments yet.

I bought my first Beijo handbag a year ago! I love my Beijo handbag and so does everyone else. Everywhere I go, someone always comes up to me, if I’m walking down the sidewalk, in the store, restaurant, at church, or out socially someone also stops me to tell me they love my handbag! It’s true: If you want to be noticed & admired, carry a Beijo! That is the real reason I became an Independent Beijo Sales consultant.

People don’t even say hi right away, first they proceed to tell me how much they love my handbags and then the conversation starts! It’s so easy to meet new people, and its all thanks to Beijo! The conversation starts right there!

The colors, the unique shapes, the designs— all draw attention, so if you are shy, you’re forced to come out of your shell! I believe the bags are an easy sell, because everyone loves their look! Since I’ve started with Beijo, I have met so many wonderful people, and they all seem to want a handbag that is different and outstanding. The uniqueness is the best part of the brand; they are each different— not the same old thing you see everywhere!

I can’t say enough about how much fun I’m having at Beijo Shopping Parties, events, and shows. Every woman seems to light up when they walk in the room and see all the beautiful handbags and colors! When my shipment arrives at my home, everyone in my family gets excited. Beijo has truly been a wonderful experience for me, in such a short time. I’ve been noticed!! But, of course, its really all about my Beijo!
